Preparation of Surface Metallurgy Cr,Mo High Speed Steel

XU Jinyong LIU Yanping GAO Yuan XU Zhong (Research Institute of Surface Engineering,Taiyuan University of Technology,Taiyuan 030024)  
Using plasma alloying and heat treatment technology,the surface of carbon steel samples can be obtained alloyed elements of Cr,Mo,C.The content of component is up to that of high speed.The fundamental princi- ple is that the surface Cr,Mo content is about 4% and 12% on mild steel by glow discharge sputtering and then al- loyed component is about to 2.0% molybdenum high speed steels with surface carhurising.Fineuniformity carbon is formed.Large eutectic ledeburite is not found.Making use of hardening,low tempering and hardening,cold treatment, low tempering,cold treatment surface dardnessis up to 1600Hv more than other technology.The phase microstucture of surface carbonide is constituted by M_(23)C_6,M_6C and M_2C.The dimension is less 1μm.
