Ductility Enhancement of Wrought Magnesium Alloys

HUANG Guangsheng,HUANG Guangjie,WANG Lingyun,PAN Fusheng (School of Material Science and Engineering,Chongqing University,Chongqing 400030)  
Poor ductility is a bottleneck of processing and application of wrought magnesium alloys,so ductility enhancement becomes a key to research and application of wrought magnesium alloys. Grain refinement, texture controlling and nonbasal slip system activation improve ductility of magnesium alloy remarkably, which are promising methods. The recent progress of ductility improvement of wrought magnesium alloys is reviewed from above three aspects.
