The Novel PPV Applied to Photovoltaic Cell

Owing to good property of poly(para-phenylenevinylene) (PPV), PPV is one of the most hopeful photovoltaic materials.Although research on PPV photovoltaic materials is comprehensive, the property deficiency still exists in PPV.In this paper,the problems on PPV photovoltaic materials are discussed, and recent progress of how to solve the problems is presented. Some novel materials for improving PPV photovoltaic performance by structure design and modification are introduced. Some new issue and future prospects of PPV photovoltaic materials are also discussed in the paper.
