Research on 0.1THz Folded Waveguide Extended Interaction Oscillator Radiation Source

In this paper, a folded waveguide extended interaction oscillator (EIO) is introduced, followed by a analysis of the relevant fundamental theory. The EIO is designed and simulated with 3D PIC code. The results show a 347 kW peak power at O.lTHz, with an interaction efficiency of 13.9%, and the injection of an electron beam at 20.6kV and a current of 0.12A.
