Analysis of T-junction Waveguides with Left-handed Materials

In the paper, FDTD is used to analyze the propagation properties of several T-junction waveguides, with left -handed materials (LHMs). First, a WR-650 T-junction waveguide is disigned. The results are similar to those obtained through simulation by the other methods. Novel structures achieve by changing the shape of LHM in T-junction are analyzed. The scattering parameters provide a reference for the relevant microwave element s design.
