Applications of Molecular Imprinted Monolithic Material in Solid-phase Extraction and Its Prospect

The molecular imprinted monolithic column is the trend of development and the advanced task of the solid phase extraction and micro-extraction technology,due to its combining with high molecular recognition ability of the molecular imprinting technology(MIT) and simple preparation,easy modification,high reproducibility and rapid mass transport of the monolithic column.In this paper,the application of molecularly imprinted polymers monolithic materials in high-performance liquid chromatography(HPLC) and capillary electrochromatography(CEC) is summarized. The technology and application of solid phase microextractoin(SPME) are also introduced.The developmental prospect of molecularly imprinted polymer monolithic materials in solid phase extraction is expected.
