Research Progress of Solid-state Recycling for Non-ferrous Metal Alloys

Solid-state recycling for non-ferrous metal alloys,in which remelting is eliminated,is characterized by high efficiency,low costs and excellent mechanical properties of recycled materials,and has an attractive prospect of applying.The principle and advantages of solid-state recycling are introduced.Mainly based on the advances of so-lid-state recycling technology of aluminum alloys and magnesium alloys,the research development of some solid-state recycling methods such as hot extrusion,hot rolling and cyclical plastic working are reviewed.At the end of the paper,some suggestions are proposed for the research and development of solid-state recycling for non-ferrous metal alloys.
