Research Development of Hydrogen-bond Acidic Polymers for Nerve Agents Detection

Nerve agents present hydrogen-bond basicity,therefore,higher sensitivity,better selectivity and faster response for nerve agent detection can be achieved by employing hydrogen-bond acidic(HBA) polymers as sensitive layers.In this paper,the research progress of HBA polymers in recent years are reviewed.It shows that carbon-silane hyperbranched polymers possess larger amplitude response,higher working temperature and better selectivity when compared with linear and hyperbranched carbon-siloxane polymers.
