Research Development of Mg-Gd-Y Alloys

Exploitation and research of Mg-Gd-Y alloys are introduced systemicly,including Mg-Gd-Y system phase diagram analysis,preparation of alloys,application of Mn,Zr and Zn elements for Mg-Gd-Y alloys alloying.Also,corrosion behaviors of Mg-Gd-Y alloys and the influence of cooling rate on microstructure of alloy are presented.At last,many problems that should be paid attention to are put forward in order to enlarge the application of Mg-Gd-Y alloys.
