Surface-modification of Electrode Materials for Lithium-ion Battery by Coating Carbon Using Chemical Vapor Deposition Technique

The influence of the CVD coating arts and coated carbon species as well as their physical properties (structure,weight percent,distribution and specific surface area ) on the electrochemical performances of the electrode materials (the first charge/discharge capacity,the first coulombic efficiency,cyclability and rate properties) are summarized,questions needed further studies are raised and the developing trend of modification is prospected.
