Research Progress of SiGe∶H Thin Film Solar Cell

According to the problems in development of solar cell based on hydrogenated amorphous silicon(aSi∶H)thin film,the advantages and recent progress of hydrogenated amorphous silicon germanium(SiGe∶H)thin film on solar cell fabrication are expounded.Several methods are proposed for improving the efficiency of SiGe∶H thin film solar cell.On the other hand,some working mechanisms and the factors affecting conversion efficiency of tandem solar cell are introduced.Finally,the application of SiGe∶H thin film solar cell in the future and some urgent problems are discussed.
