Preparation and Application of Nano Reactive Multilayer Films

Nano reactive multilayer films(RMFs)are one novel kind of energetic materials,which are generally prepared by alternatively depositing two or more materials that can react to each other.Upon low energy pulse,the films can react exothermically and the reaction region can self-propagate at a fixed velocity.Due to the tunable structures and special performance differing from single layer film,nano reactive multilayer films have been widely utilized in ignition and micro-electromechanical systems.Preparation methods,reaction mechanism and applications in micro/ nano energetic device of nano reactive multilayer films in recent years are reviewed.The advantages and disadvantages of mechanical processing method,evaporation coating method and magnetron sputtering method are primarily discussed,and the research dereciton and points of nano reactive multilayer films are prospected.
