Gas Isotope Exchange Technique and Its Application in Metallurgy

The gas isotope exchange technique is an effective tool to study the reaction in gas-solid and gasliquid system.With the help of mass spectrometer,it on-line monitors the change of gas composition during isotope exchange reaction,and then parses the reaction dynamics equation.Gas isotope exchange technique has been widely used to study the chemical reaction mechanism in chemical,biological,geological and other fields.Herein,the principle of gas isotopic exchange technology is briefly introduced.Particularly,its classification and dynamics are recommended.Also,the application and research progress of gas isotope exchange technique in metallurgy are overviewed.
