Research Progress in the Preparation of Copper Zinc Tin Sulfide Nanoparticles

Cu2ZnSnS4(CZTS)has a high absorption coefficient of the order of 104cm-1.Its band-gap energy is about 1.45 eV,which matches well with the solar spectrum.Moreover,CZTS contains non-toxic elements and its elements are abundant,inexpensive on the earth,It is suitable for roll-to-roll,screen printing and other non-vacuum and low-cost manufacturing methods,which makes CZTS solar cell become one of the most potential thin-film solar cells for industrial development.Thus CZTS attracted much attention in recent years.Non-vacuum and low-cost manufacturing methods mostly use CZTS nanoparticles or nano ink,so low-cost and green method for manufacturing highquality CZTS nano powder has become an important part of CZTS solar cells device fabrication.The methods to prepare CZTS nanoparticles and nano ink are reviewed.The characteristics,advantages and disadvantages of various CZTS powder preparation methods are analyzed,and its development trend is discussed.
