A Research Progress of Composite-reinforced Silver-based Electrical Contact Materials

AgMeO electrical contact materials has been used widely in the electrical industrydue to the good resistance to arc erosion,welding and electrical wear.Up to now,the study of single reinforced phase reinforced silver-based electrical contact material has been basically mature.But it is difficult to improve the comprehensive performance.Multi-phase enhanced silver-based electrical contact material has become a research hotspot because of the reason that its research is not enough depth and has shown great research potential.The development direction of multi-phase reinforced electrical contact materials is prospected while its research status and achievements are summarized in this paper.
