Research Progress of Preparation for Permalloy Nanowire Using Template-based Electrodeposition

Cylindrical permalloy nanowire has attracted much attention in fields of the micromagnetism and the ultra-high density magnetic storage,which owes to the uniaxial shape anisotropy and the ultrafast transport property of the magnetic domain wall.Therefore,the study of the preparation technology of high-quality cylindrical permalloy nanowires has very important significance.At present,the template-based electrodeposition is the preferred method for preparing the cylindrical permalloy nanowires.Due to the effect of various electrodeposition parameters on anomalous codeposition behaviors of the nickel-iron alloy,the template-based electrodeposition has not been able to prepare high-quality permalloy nanowires so far,with the uniform distribution of nickel-iron composition and the good compactness,In this paper,we analyzed technical problems and root causes of the template-based electrodeposition,and summarized a feasible solution to provide a reference for the preparation of high-quality permalloy nanowires.
