Synthesis,Characterization and Gas Adsorption Properties of Porphyrin-based Porous Organic Polymers

Building blocks of 5,10,15,20-tetrakis(4-ethynylphenyl)porphyrin(TEPP)and 5,10,15,20-tetrakis(4-bromophenyl)porphyrin(TBPP)were synthesized by Sonogashira coupling of p-bromobenzaldehyde and trimethylsilylacetylene.The porphyrin-based porous organic polymer(P-POP)were successfully produced by Sonogashira coupling of TEPP and TBPP.1 H NMR,XRD,SEM,FT-IR and gas adsorption were applied for structural and property analysis of P-POP.The results indicated that P-POP was irregular and noncrystalline bulks,and had excellent thermal stability from room temperature to 950℃.The BET specific surface area and the pore volume of P-POP were 659.9 m2/g and 0.7 cm3/g,respectively.The pore size was mainly distributed in the range of 5—20 nm.P-POP displayed good CO_2 adsorption capacity at 273 K,and the maximum adsorption value was up to 25.2 cm3/g.
