Synthesis and Preliminary Evaluation of a BSA Co-delivery Nano System for Gene and Photosensitizer

The BSA co-delivery nano system was synthesized through a self-assembling method,by the well control of the BSA structure during heating process by SDS,the BSA nanocarrier was developed in a relatively mild condition without extra catalyst or cross-linker.Then the surface potential was modified after Ce6 photosensitizer was successfully loaded,and through rational regulation of surface potential by PEI decorating,a nano system with optimal efficiency for CpG(a nucleic acid)and Ce6 loading was organized.Subsequently the structure and morphology,size distribution,surface potential and stability were characterized,the results turned out that BSA-Ce6-PEI-CpG nano system owns well-dispersed,regular spherical nanoparticles at nanoscale.Moreover,the structure stability,effective encapsulation of CpG and ROS releasement upon irradiation proved it to be a promising co-carrier for gene and photosensitizer.
