Advances in the Research of Graphene Quantum Dots in Biomedica Science

The graphene quantum dots are derivatives of the graphene superfamily,compared with high dimensional graphene,which have good biocompatibility and lower cytotoxicity and better chemical modification.Since the discovery,the application of graphene quantum dots has been gradually broadened.The biological applications of graphenequantum dots include bioimaging,biosensors,drug transport,gene carriers,antibacterial antiviral and tumor photodynamic therapy.This paper mainly introduce the biocompatibility of graphene quantum dots and its progress in biomedical research in recent years.The prospect of its development is prospected.
