Applications of Mesoporous Graphitic Carbon Nitride Adsorption Materials in Environment

Graphitic carbon nitride(g-C_3N_4)is a conjugated polymer material composed of carbon(C)and nitrogen(N)elements with a planar tri-s-triazine network structure.Compared to most other carbon materials,carbon nitride is an electron rich body,which endows its various special and interesting properties.The current research on g-C_3N_4 mainly focuses on its related catalytic ability(photo-catalysis,electrocatalysis and photo-electrocatalysis),however,studies on the adsorption application of g-C_3N_4 is relatively few.The purpose of this paper is to review the application of g-C_3N_4 in the field of adsorption.In this paper,the properties and preparation methods of g-C_3N_4 and their applications as adsorbents are briefly introduced.Finally,the future research direction of graphite carbon nitride in adsorption applications is anticipated.
