Revision and Preliminary Application of Cognitive Flexibility Scale for College Students

The goal of this research was to revise the Cognitive Flexibility Scale for college students in China. 366 undergraduate students were selected in pretest study. 300 undergraduate students finished the formal test. 240 undergraduate students were selected in criterion validity study. 785 undergraduate students finished a preliminary test. Results indicated that the discrimination of item, Cronbach alpha coefficient, test-retest reliability, construct validity and criterion validity and so on had sound psychometrical criterion. Furthermore, the cognitive flexibility of college students who have social practice experience were significantly higher than those of who haven′t and the cognitive flexibility of liberal arts girls were significantly higher than those of science.
