Review on Adolescent Leadership Development

Leadership development has been an important theme in the field of leadership research. It is the best and critical time for leadership development adolescence, so the practice of leadership development begins at an early age is not only necessary but also effective. Adolescent leadership development aims at helping adolescents strengthen leadership awareness, develop leadership qualities and master leadership skills by implementing a variety of activities and experiences. By reviewing the ado lescent leadership developmental literature including the development models, methods and content, the authors have put forward some promising topics or trends as follows: Firstly, the empirical verification of the theoretical adolescent leadership development model should be carried out. Secondly, research should be more on guiding leadership development in sport, explore the leadership development in physical education and sport area. Finally, the empirical research of adolescent leadership development in the Chinese context. should be emphasized and attached more importance.
