The Review about Foreign Research on Positive Deviance

Xu Shiyong, Zhang Yuqing (School of Labor &Human Resources, Renmin University of China, Beijing 100872)  
In sociology and organizational behavior domain, the research on deviance is fruitful, while most of these focus on the negative effects of deviance. In recent years, the scholars begin to take an interest in positive deviance (PD) . The researches about definition of PD, distinction between PD and other prosocial types of behavior, the measurement of PD, the antecedents and outcomes of PD were reviewed in the present paper. Future research trends about PD were put forward at last part of the paper.
