The Research of Core Competencies and Values for Students in China

To develop students′ core competencies and values refers to the project to develop the necessary qualities and key capacities of students in the life-long sense of development required by society. To research the case for China contributes to deeply answer the major issue about ″cultivating what kind of students and how to cultivate″. Based on the research of education policy, international comparison, traditional cultural analysis, curriculum analysis and empirical investigation, we construct the overall framework of the core competencies and values including three domains covering six indicators.
