On concrete water reducing agent from modified lignosulfonate

Lignosulfonate, a common water reducing agent has not good water reducing perfomance because of its wide molecular weight distribution.Through the separation, lignosulfonate with narrow molecular weight distribution was obtained and then chemically modified. The influence of the modified lignosulfonate water reducing agent on the fluidity and consolidating time of net cement slurry, the compressive strength of concrete and the water reducing rate of concrete was studied and a comparative experiment was carried out. The results show that the modified lignosulfonate has a better water-reducing performance as effectively as high grade concrete water reducing agent.
