The geological characteristics of LUOBUSHA chromite in Tibet and its comparison with Zedang rock

The Yarlung Zangbo Suture Zone is the most promising area for chromite prospecting in China. The chromite chromite in the Lop Nur rock mass in the eastern part of the Yangtze River is the largest CHROMITE DEPOSIT IN China. The LUOBUSHA CHROMITE DEPOSIT according to the geological characteristics and mineralization characteristics of chromite ore belt, divided into the northern edge of the southern edge of the ore belt and central ore belt, ore bodies occur in Xiehui harzburgite facies. Zedang LUOBUSHA and adjacent rock rock, two rock mantle peridotites have similar origin and age of the ophiolite is similar to find rich dunite and harzburgite facies in Zedang rock in great possibility.
