Effect of drawing process on composite drawing of stainless steel/copper/carbon steel

In order to study the effect of drawing process of stainless steel/copper/steel composite pipe composite effect, established the finite element model of the three metal tube drawing process, the influence of push/tension and drawing speed on the contact stress between the metal and the drawing force. The study found that three of drawing process of metal composite has great influence, when the contact thrust is-10 MPa stainless steel surface stress attains the maximum value of 320 MPa, the copper layer and the carbon layer is larger, respectively 272 MPa, 302 MPa. When the drawing speed is more than 200 mm/s, the contact stress on the surface of stainless steel, copper and carbon steel tends to the maximum, and the stability values are 390 MPa, 360 MPa and 347.5 MP respectively.
