Silver Film Concentration Method for the Measurementof Gaseous Mercury in the Atmosphere

This paper discusses the method using silver film concentration pipe to measure the gaseous mercury in the atmosphere,the elements that influence the absorption rate of gaseous mercury,and the ways of regenerating silver film concentration pipes.The results show that the silver film concentration pipe can effectively concentrate the gasesous mercury in the atmosphere.The absorption rate can reach 98% when the length and diameter of the pipe is bigger than 200mm/4.5mm and the flow is 0.4L/min.
