Study on the Plugging Property Performance of Cross-Linked Polymer Dispersion System

Experiments of microporous membrane filtration test,dynamic light scatting and sand filled tube test are carried out to investigate the plugging property and the size of the cross-linked polymer.The effect of cross-linking agent concentration,system concentration,hydration time and salt concentration on the plugging property is also studied.The results show that the cross-linked polymer has good plugging efficiency in nuclear pore film of 1.2 μm.The plugging efficiency of the dispersed system is enhanced with the increasing of the cross-linking agent at low concentration.However,the plugging efficiency tends to decrease when the mass concentration is more than 0.1%.With the increasing of the hydration time and the decreasing of the system concentration,the plugging property of the system decreases.Both the plugging efficiency and the size of the dispersed system decrease with Na Cl concentration increasing.Core flooding test proves that the dispersed system could enter into the mid-depth of the sand pipe and has good plugging property.However,the adsorption property is not that positive.
