Characteristics and Main Controlling Factors of Carbonate Reservoirs in Zhujiang Formation,Dongsha Massif

Based on core observation,rock sheet and logging data,this paper studied the petrologic characteristics,reservoir space types,physical properties and main controlling factors of carbonate reservoirs of Zhujiang Formation in Dongsha Massif,which is characterized with strong heterogeneity.The results show that high-quality reservoirs mainly developed in reef limestone and clastic beach limestone.And because of atmospheric and fresh water dissolution in the contemporaneous and supergene periods,the main reservoir spaces include intragranular dissolved pores,intergranular dissolved pores,moldic pores and dissolved fractures.The reservoir has the properties of high porosity and high permeability in Liuhua area,becoming lower in Lufeng and Huizhou areas.Reservoir qualities are affected by regressive cycles of fourth-order sequence of highstand system tract,sedimentary facies and diagenesis.The reef limestone and beach limestone in marginal carbonate platform are favorable reservoirs.
