Exact Theoretical Solution for Large-Deformation of Circle Membrane under Uniformly Distributed Loads

This paper studies the large deformation of circle membrane with the fixed boundary condition,under the lateral uniformly distributed loads.Based on the deflection theory of membrane,basic governing equations of large-deflection for circular isotropic membrane under uniformly distributed loads,are derived.And the appropriate dimensionless variables are selected to simplify the basic governing equation.With a set of proper boundary conditions,the exact theoretical analytical solution for large-deflection of circular membranes is obtained.Based on the numerical analysis,compared with the existing power series solution,the correctness of the exact solution proposed in this paper is verified.
