On the Dimension of"Person"in Ecological Ethics

Xu Jin
At the dimension of"person",anthropocentrism fails in the losing of Person resulting from the fact that human beings expect to master their own life and obtain the definite self-salvation through scientific reasoning while non-anthropocentrism fails in the neglect of the essential differences between human beings as"person"and as the existing creature and between fact judgment and value judgment in the process of endowing all the creatures and non-creatures with object moral values. The human beings as"person" could be the subject of moral values and the establishment of integral anthropocentrism centered on "person" could be the sole correct approach to realize the harmonious ecology.
