The Education Empowerment Approach for the Children Left in Rural Areas:Fujian Case

With the acceleration of urbanization process,surplus rural labor has poured into the city,making the problem of education of rural children left in rural areas has manifested itself and it has aroused extensive concern in society.The study analyzing the strategies of helping rural children left behind in the program by means of empowerment perspective on the basis of the case of the "983" program in Luoyuan County,Fuzhou City,which including the methods of teacher support,visit,financial aid,etc.This study found thesis' research is more practical than previous studies and the program is thinking of empowerment to a certain extent but the implementation is not complete.The thesis offers a proposal in three stages of personal,interpersonal and social with the core concept of empowerment,in order to make children left behind more positive and realize the real empowerment.
