The Transition of Ownership for Socialism with Chinese Characteristics

Li Hairong;Zhang Shen;
The issue of ownership has always been a big problem in Chinese economic transition.With the gradual foundation of "the unitary public ownership" since the construction of socialism started in 1949,the problem was once hid.But this dormant state was broken because of the booming "township and village enterprises" in 1980 s.The problem of structure of ownership has been put on the agenda,and it becomes increasingly urgent with the steady establishment of socialist market economy with Chinese characteristics; the Third Plenary Session of the 18 th CPC Central Committee in November 2013 proposed "mixed ownership",which was the latest response to this issue.It can be said that,to establish what kind of ownership is not only a key link of socialist market economy,but also is the subject of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
