Trend of Management System of Modern Service Industry: a Case Study of National Comprehensive Pilot Area

Research Group of Servicing Decision-making of Chongqing Municipal Committee;  
Since 2011, China has carried out comprehensive pilot in modern service industry successively divided into four batches in 12 regions. These areas actively explore, beforehand and foretaste in the management system,which has preferably promoted the development of modern service industry. By comparing the similarities and differences of the management system of modern service industry in the pilot areas, the following enlightenments can be obtained: strengthening the top-level design and achieving cooperation between government and government departments at all levels, insisting on doing something but not everything and building a service-oriented government, playing the role of market players, trade associations and other social organizations and building a new cooperative relationship between government and market, between government and society, improving the system of decision-making and consultation and inviting new think tanks to participate in decision-making and government performance evaluation.
