The Changes of the Concept of Individual Property Rights in the West

The concept that the individual property is inviolable is one of the core principles of capitalist law and the foundation of the capitalist legal system. With the development of politics, economy and culture in the West, the concept of individual property rights has also undergone a changing process. Through expounding the concept of individual property in the West before and after modern times and analyzing the status of individual property in modern times-justification and sanctification, this paper is aimed to bring forward policy suggestions on the construction of the democracy and the Rule of Law in our country based on the theory of the concept of individual property in the West.
