Super Element Method to Analyze Creep of Combined Beam Bridge

Based on the viscoelastic constitutive relation at the multi-axle stress state, the super element method is proposed to analyze the creep of steel-concrete combined beam bridge. The generalized Maxwell model is used to describe the concrete creep behavior. The super element method is used to reduce the analysis scale. The Newton-Raphson iterative method is used to solve the creep response of structure. Taking a two-span steel-concrete continuous beam bridge as an example, the article analyzes the effect of creep on the structure, which can be referred for the similar engineering designs and practices.
