Design and Stress Analysis of Steel Anchor Box of Self-anchorage Suspension Bridge

The self-anchorage suspension bridge has the fashionable and attractive structure. Its anchorage construction of cable and main girder is its key part. The article introduces the overall design of Shanghai Pudong South Chuanhuan Road Pudong Canal Bridge. This bridge is a 112 m + 72 m-span self-anchorage suspension bridge. The double main girders are the steel box girders. The anchor box is the steel structure.The design of steel anchor box is novel and the construction is unique. Owing to the difficult cognition of its loading features, therefore, the finite element model of shell element is used to analyze and achieve its force transmission route and stress levels of every part.
