Study on Anti-seismic Property of Socketed Precast Assembled Bridge Pier

The socketed joint construction is a splicing method of precast bridge pier and base slab. Its construction accuracy is required lower by comparing with the grout sleeve and grout corrugated pipe taken the steel bar as the splicing unit of joint construction, and the field construction is little by comparing with the cast-in-situ wet joint and pre-stressed segment dry joint. It is a powerful competition scheme of precast assembly of bridge substructure. The article summarizes and studies the anti-seismic property of socketed construction from three aspects of test study, theoretical study and engineering application in order to promote the application of this technique in the construction of precast assembled bridge pier in China.
