Study on Optimization of Groundwater Resource Development Scheme in Mining Field of Secco

The mining field of Secco belongs to a region of less rainfall, high temperature, drought and poor water. The water supply of mining field changes the hydrological condition of local groundwater and makes the contradiction between supply and demand of the original tense water resources becoming more acute.On the basis of generalizing the hydrological and geological conditions of water resource in this region, the Visual MODFLOW is used to establish the quasi-three-dimensional groundwater flow numerical model.Based on the limiting condition of pumping output, the number of pumping well and the space between the wells are regulated and controlled. 12 development schemes are designed. According to the analysis on the maximum drawdown and influence scope of the well field in water resource area, the optimized development scheme is determined. Three pumping wells are constructed, the pumping flow per well is1000 m3/d and the well space is 500 m. The maximum drawdown in the eighth annual drying series of the first mining plan is 3.15 m and the edge drawdown is 1.86 m. The continuous decrease range of water level in the second operation period is very small, and is stabilized at above 0.4 m. The simulated result can provide the scientific basis for the water supply and development of mining fields in the high-temperature and drought regions.
