Design and Analysis of Underwater Vectored Thruster in Underwater Vehicle

In this paper,a hydraulic-drive vectored thruster based on bar transmission structures is designed using three dimensional software(PRO-E),and a method via controlling hydraulic cylinders drive to control the deflection direction of shell is proposed.The one-to-one correspondence between the deflection angle and the displacement of hydraulic cylinder is proved by establishing mathematical models and MATLAB calculation.ADAMS simulation proves the feasibility of the application of the vectored thruster in underwater launch vehicle and this vectored thruster can reduce the complexity of the launch vehicle propulsion system.
