Gao Min;Zhang Fan;Wei Min;School of Landscape Architecture,Beijing Forestry University;
Currently,bird-watching has been emerging in China and there are some groups active in this area,but there is a big gap in bird-watching facilities design of relevant facilities due to the lack of systematical research. Now,many facilities have been built around the country,but without the guidance of scientific theories,people have little ideas about if the facilities are appropriate to achieve the expected results. The paper is aimed to develop the outline for bird-watching facilities design based on animal suitability principle through specific analysis and research,so as to provide enough theoretical support for local government,facilities operators and communities as well as the helpful references for bird-watchers.
