Evaluation of Suzhou Wetland Ecosystem Service Value: Empirical Research Based On Costanza Model

Based on the Contanza Model,this study evaluated the ecosystem service value( ESV) of the wetlands of Suzhou in 2015. The results showed that the wetland ecosystem service value was 100. 353 billion yuan,while regulating services,provisioning services,supporting services and cultural services were 8. 833 billion yuan,678 million yuan,350 million yuan and 176 million yuan,respectively. In terms of unit area wetland ecosystem service value,rivers and lakes had the highest value at 383. 4 thousand yuan/ha,while rice fields and artificial breeding ponds had the smallest EVS at 11. 9 thousand yuan/hm~2. Rivers and lakes made a largest contribution to the wetland ecosystem service value,which was 95. 46%,followed by marshy wetlands( 2. 78%),rice fields( 0. 92%) and artificial breeding ponds( 0. 84%).
