Thaumasite form of sulfate attack on concrete

The research situation on concrete thaumasite form of sulfate attack (TSA), the newest research on concrete sulfate attack at home and abroad, is introduced in this paper. The similarities and differences between the thaumasite and ettringite are analyzed by the micro-phase method, and the effectively discriminative methods are provided accordingly. The attack characteristic, damage formation and the occurring condition are analyzed systematically. The probability of the occurrence of TSA in domestic engineering is analyzed, and the importance of deep research on TSA is provided by combine with the engineering environment and the major project of our country.
