Effect of extreme climate events on expansive soil roadbed water-destroyed

The effect of extreme climate events on expansive soil roadbed water-destroyed was analyzed.The effect of maximum value of daily rainfall in different return periods and the different drought durations to expansive soil roadbed water-destroyed were calculated quantitatively.The analysis results show that the maximum value of daily rainfall and drought duration are the extreme climate events which affects the expansive soil roadbed water-destroyed.
