Studies on the Relationship Between Plant Height Form Index and Yield Under the Condition of Different Competition on Early Generation of Wheat Hybrid

Different types of wheat cross-combination offsprings chosen as materials,the relationship between plant morphologic characters and yield was studied under the condition ddifferent competition in different combinations.Meanwhile,the criterion used for choosingwheat high-yield population plant structure was analysed.Results showed that knot lengthof plant had different effects on yield characters under the condition of different competitionThe value of plant height form index may well reflect the population yield.Higher index combinations may be favorable to the selection of high-yield types.
