Study on the Influence of TNT Shape on Blast Wave Impulse

In the anti-explosion test of military vehicles,cylindrical TNT are usually used instead of mines,and as the shape of the cylindrical explosive changes,the specific impulse of the shock wave produced by the explosion also changes. The LS-DYNA software was used to establish a numerical model to simulate air burst. A square target plate with four edges constrained is used as the research object,using the center deflection of the target plate to evaluate the ratio impulse,and the reliability of the calculation model and the value of the simulation parameters are verified through the comparison and analysis of the experimental results and the simulation results. The study analyzes the influence of the change of the TNT shape on the blast wave impulse based on the numerical calculation model. The study shows that when the diameter-height ratio of the cylindrical TNT is in a certain range,with the increase of the diameter-height ratio,the deformation of the target plate and blast wave impulse become larger.
