Research on the synthesis and properties of polyacrylate polyols

Polyacrylic polyols was synthesized by solution polymerization and the molecular weight can be controlled in the range of 40000 ~ 100000 by changing the dosage of initiator. Its structure was characterized by infrared spectroscopy. The results show that the product was Polyacrylic polyols. The polyurethane adhesive was prepared with acrylic polyol as group A(main agent) and isocyanate as group B(curing agent),which was used for bonding the solar battery back PE/PET layer. The measured initial peel strength can reach more than 4 N/15 mm and 1 day after curing, the peel strength can reach more than 10 N/15 mm, which indicated that it can be used for the preparation of solar battery backboard adhesive.
