Synthesis and photopolymerization properties research of a photoinitiator containing benzophenone

This paper used 4-hydroxyphenyl benzophenone and allyl bromide as materials synthesized a photoinitiator containing benzophenone.Its structure was determined by NMR spectroscopy.The absorption and degradation performance of POBP were studied by UV-vis absorption spectra.Real-time infrared spectroscopy(RT-IR)investigated the influence of the concentration of POBP,light intensity and monomer on Polymerization kinetics.The results show that the maximum absorption wavelength of POBP has a notable red shift compared with BP.And its light absorption ability is greatly enhanced,which leads to the double bond conversion of HDDA has an improvement,which also means that POBP is a good photoinitiator.
