Study on Optimal Design and Experiment of Light Coach Powertrain Mounting System

To maximally reduce the vibration and noise transfer from powertrain system to body is one of the key techniques for the vibration isolation and noise reduction of vehicle. One self-developed light coach was chosen as research object, NVH optimal design was conducted for the powertrain mounting system. Firstly, the hammering modal test was applied to identify the mass center of powertrain and calculate the moment of inertia and product of inertia based on mass line method. The decoupling arrangement of powertrain mounting system was carried out, and the location of rear mount was determined. The rigid dynamics model of mounting system with 6 DOFs was established. The mounting system stiffness was optimized through energy decoupling, and the optimized result was verified through the calculation of frequency distribution, vibration energy distribution and displacement limits. Finally,whole vehicle NVH tests were carried out to verify the optimization effect.
